“Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads….but we do need racetracks…” McLaren has released a parody of the world’s most famous time-machine movie; Back to the Future starring its 2015 season F1 driver, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button.
Through this funny yet very surprising short clip, McLaren announces that they have big expectations for the 2015 Formula 1 season which will begin on March 15 at Melbourne.
Fernando Alonso convinces his colleague to use the 650S “time machine” to travel to the inaugural race of the 2015 season although Jenson Button wanted to go back in time to April 3, 1988 at the Brazilian Grand Prix where Ayrton Senna took the win in his McLaren Honda.
Speaking of which, McLaren Honda is back for 2015 with the MP4-30 car and they hope to rekindle the fruitful collaboration which led to 8 world titles and 44 race victories between 1988 and 1992.
