McLaren has just uncovered the images of the MP4-29, which reveals the fears of the majority of F1 fans – the dreadful front nose. The image on the MP4-29’s front suggests the actual look on how the F1 2014’s machines should look like. If you asked me, it doesn’t look good. However, take away that dreadful nose, and you can see the overall aesthetic of the silver MP4-29 does look slick and solid.

Following their dismal campaign in 2013, the Woking based team has undergone a number of dramatic changes. To start, former team manager, Ron Dennis, has returned to take control, and it is almost certain Martin Whitmarsh will exit as team principal. Lotus F1’s boss, Eric Boulier has left the team to possibly joining the McLaren F1’s management team as well. Meanwhile, Sergio Perez, who had a difficult season in his first year in McLaren, was removed in favor of Danish rookie Kevin Magnussen, while Jenson Button retained as the main driver.
