Boon Siew Honda has just unveiled its newest scooter, the new Honda BeAT. According to them, the new BeAT caters to the active lifestyle of youths with its newest scooter range.
The new Honda BeAT is powered by a four-stroke air-cooled 110 cc engine with PGM-FI that outputs 8.77 PS and 9.14 Nm to the rear wheel via a v-belt automatic transmission. The EEV-certified scooter carries with it a 4-litre fuel tank.
Safety is crucial to Boon Siew Honda, as the new Honda BeAT features Combi Brake System or CBS. This new feature is a first for Boon Siew Honda, which allows the BeAT to brake in a shorter distance. This in turn gives more control to the riders over their vehicles.
On top of CBS, the Honda BeAT is also equipped with Smart Lock System that keeps brakes locked for safe starting or parking, designed to avoid accidental acceleration in traffic. Boon Siew Honda says that the Honda BeAT also comes with Side Stand Swift which stops the engine automatically once engage for safety.
Available in four colours including Vital Metallic Blue, Pearl Megallanic Black, Viva City Red and Angel Pink, the Honda BeAT is priced at RM5,565 with GST. Boon Siew Honda will back the new BeAT with a two year or 20,000 manufacturer warranty and looks to sell 12,500 units annually.
