Bridgestone Asia Pacific recently received the 2014 Regional Supplier Overall Outstanding Performance Award from Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
The award was represented by Mr Shinichi Hanashi, Chief Executive Officer of BSCAP who recently attended the Toyota Motors Asia Pacific Engineering and Manufacturing Annual Supplier Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. The Conference was attended by top management from Toyota’s suppliers in the Asia Pacific region.
The award recognises Bridgestone’s contribution as a key supplier towards Toyota’s operations in the Asia Pacific region, in the aspects of safety, quality, cost, delivery, engineering and management. The award was presented by Mr Hisayuki Inoue, Chief Executive Officer and President of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to Mr Hanashi.
