Caltex recently officiated the opening of its latest service station, Caltex Denai Alam at Shah Alam. Customers and motorists alike will not only be able to purchase fuel and lubricants, but also dine at quick-service restaurant chain, McDonald’s or make a purchase at the 7-Eleven convenience store in a one-stop center.
“Chevron is all about serving the people of Malaysia. We understand the changing needs of customers and we continuously strive to improve our products and services to meet the changing demands of the market. The launch today addresses our approach to provide motorists with a delightful and convenient one-stop experience,” said Chevron Malaysia Country Chairman, Shahid Ahmed, when officiating the station opening at Shah Alam.
According to Chevron Malaysia Limited, the partnerships of the two significant brands (7-Eleven and Mc Donald’s) is expected to boost the overall customer experience. Moving forward, customers can expect to see more tie-ups with such brands incorporated into the Caltex stations, contributing towards Chevron Malaysia’s network expansion.
Commenting further on the Denai Alam station opening, Ahmed said, “Our alliance with 7-Eleven and quick-service restaurant chain, McDonald’s is part of our regional strategy whereour focus is onour core business function, which is providing quality fuels and lubricant products as part of a holistic customer experience in terms of station offerings.”
To celebrate the grand opening, motorists at the launch event opening were treated to a complimentary 7-Eleven Slurpee and McCafe’s premium blend cappuccino coffee as a token of appreciation for being part of Chevron’s milestone. Motorists who pumped a minimum of RM50 worth of Caltex fuel were also given the chance to win mystery prizes.
Additionally, customers who visit the Denai Alam station from now until 14 October 2015 will be able to redeem 3x BPoints on their Caltex JOURNEYTM Card and BCARD on their petrol purchase.
