NAZA World, Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur (NAZA Prestige Bikes Sdn Bhd), and Ducati Malaysia (Next Bikes Sdn Bhd) have recently accepted the invitation from Make-A-Wish Foundation Malaysia to partake in a mission to grant a wish of a young boy who is suffering from Leukemia. The wish maker, Baim, 5 years old, is battling against Leukemia, and is now in remission with a good chance of recovery.
Unlike other kids around his age, Baim is fond of big boy toys. Like father like son, Baim shares the same passion with his father, Masdar, 29, for motorcycles. Baim request with the Make-A-Wish team is for a powered miniature motorcycle.
An anonymous private sponsor ‘bought’ Baim’s wish at the Wish Ball fund raising event held by Make-A-Wish Foundation last year. In order to make the evening a memorable one that is filled with joy, laughter and a unique unforgettable experience, Make-A-Wish Foundation Malaysia reached out to NAZA World to help make Baim’s wish come true.
Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur (H-DKL) showroom was the event venue to host Baim, family members and friends. To make Baim’s experience even more exhilarating, H-DKL have gathered a number of Harley Owners Group (HOG) members at Baim’s residence at Puchong, and formed a Harley convoy to accompany him to H-DKL showroom. The convoy travelled at a gentle pace as Baim’s safety is their main priority.
Baim and his entourage had the opportunity to tour around the H-DKL boutique showroom and facilities. Members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) also took the opportunity to shower Baim with a range of Harley-Davidson merchandise and gear.
Baim also visited the Ducati Centre for an up-close experience with the Ducati range of motorcycles. Baim was beamed with delights as he was presented with a miniature electric-powered Ducati motorcycle from En Abdul Hamid Ismail, Senior Vice President, Diversified Division, NAZA Group of Companies.
The day concluded with more gifts consisting of Harley-Davidson merchandise and other toys for Baim and his family. Throughout the evening, Baim was given joy rides on a number of Harley motorcycles, including the unique Harley Trike. Everyone was happy to see Baim’s face lit up with joy as it was truly a thrilling and memorable experience, thanks to the private sponsor and NAZA World.
