In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya holidays, Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTM) is organising a Tyre Safety Check Campaign scheduled from 9th June to 3rd July 2016 at 4 Tesco Extra stores in Peninsula Malaysia.
The Tyre Safety Check Campaign is aimed at educating the general motorists to cultivate tyre safety habits and prioritize vehicle tyre maintenance to ensure a safe trip “balik kampung”.
According to Mr. Cameron Wilson, Managing Director of CTM, “It is vital that road users continue to be educated that correct tyre inflation pressure and sufficient tread depth are essential to ensure safe motoring. Without these measures, emergency stopping distances can be much longer which means more accidents at higher impact speeds. So clearly, correct tyre inflation, sufficient tread depth as well as choosing quality tyres can make the difference between life and death.”
The first Tyre Safety Check Campaign kicks off at the Tesco Extra Alma, Bukit Mertajam on 9th June, 2016. CTM is currently conducting the seconds tyre safety checks at the following locations below, from 10am till 10pm.
Booklet featuring tyre maintenance tips and Continental premiums will also be distributed to the public during the campaign. In addition, as the official sponsor of UEFA Euro 2016, CTM also organized the UEFA Euro 2016 roadshow at the following locations featuring super shot game where shoppers can participate in order to win limited edition UEFA Euro 2016 merchandise.
