As vacationers were heading to their destinations for some much needed rest midway through the year, 108 Sunway Theme Parks staff members (Sunway Lagoon and Lost World of Tambun) recently handed out mineral water bottles to travelers as they braced the hectic roads and tiring commute.
A total of 100,000 bottles of mineral water bottles were be handed out to motorists across 6 toll plazas comprising of Subang, Batu Tiga, Jalan Duta, Sungai Besi, Ipoh Selatan, and Juru, over a 3-day period, from the 10th of June to the 12th of June.
“This time of year, brings many tourists to the highways, as they head to their preferred destinations. This is Sunway Theme Parks way of wishing them a safe journey and unforgettable holiday, by presenting them with mineral water and hope that we are able to help motorists break fast should they be unable to reach their destinations in time for Iftar,” said Calvin Ho, Senior General Manager of Sunway Theme Parks.
Apart from providing relief for drivers stuck in traffic jams rushing to break fast, the mineral bottles were adorned with labels featuring discount promotions for both Sunway Lagoon and Lost World of Tambun. Each label provides 30% and 15% discounts on entry passes to Sunway Lagoon and Lost World of Tambun respectively, giving tourists a chance to plan their vacations ahead of time.
