Driving manuals are awesome but perhaps many of you automatic-only drivers don’t know how to really drive one. Fret not, because Alexander Rossi, Manor Marussia Formula 1 driver, can show you how to drive a stick shift properly!
The video below demonstrates a very simple and easy guide on how to drive a manual. It’s not rocket science really, and with a little bit of practice, you’ll get the hang of it very quickly!
After going over the basics, Rossi decides to have a little fun in the faded red Volkswagen Scirocco, while donning a helmet that’s painted up in a shade of green usually reserved for fishing boats.
