2016 Range Rover Evoque facelift launched, priced from RM430,000


The facelifted Range Rover Evoque has quietly found its way into showrooms. More than 1,600 units of the Evoque has been sold by JLR since its debut.


The facelift brings along a revised front bumper, which now features a larger air intake as well as integrated LED daytime running lights. Moving to the rear, the Evoque has a new integrated rear spoiler and a pair of revised tail lights.

Inside, the Evoque facelift gets new door trim and new front seats. The 12-way power adjustable front seats are available in a range of colours. Elsewhere, the instrument cluster receives some minor updates, including a new five-inch LCD display. The infotainment system in the Evoque has also been updated, and is now accompanied by 8 speakers.


Additionally, the interior can be had in three colours, namely Ebony Black, Almond Espresso and Cirrus Lunar. As for the exterior, buyers can choose from ten different colours, which includes Fuji White, Yulong White, Indus Silver, Scotia Grey, Corris Grey, Kaikoura Stone, Firenza Red, Aintree Green, Loire Blue and Santorini Black. All the colours are metallic, except Fuji White, which is a solid colour.

The Range Rover Evoque facelift will only be available with a 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine, which is capable of 240 PS and 304 Nm of torque. Like the pre-facelift model, the Evoque facelift soldiers on with the ZF 9-speed automatic. The Evoque can hit 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 217 km/h.

The pictured 20-inch five split-spoke ‘Style 504’ with shadow chrome finish rims are an option.

Available at Sisma Auto Glenmarie, the Evoque facelift can be yours from RM430,000. The price is inclusive of GST, but excludes insurance, road tax and registration. The Evoque is backed by a 5-year or 150,000 km warranty, 5-year or 80,000 km free scheduled maintenance, and a 3-year roadside assistance.
