New Volkswagen 4S Centre launched in Selayang

Volkswagen Malaysia and Goh Brothers Motor recently launched the latest addition to the Volkswagen network – the Volkswagen Selayang 4S Centre. This outlet is also the country’s second Volkswagen Technical Service Centre.

Boasting 55,000 sqft over 5 floors, Volkswagen Selayang is a full fledge centre that caters to the complete needs of Volkswagen owners from sales to after sales covering quick & general service, diagnostics and major repairs. The built-up of the centre focuses on after sales where a comprehensive area has been allocated to ensure customers’ needs are prioritized.

Service Bay

In an effort to boost ownership experience, Volkswagen Selayang 4S service centre has dedicated three out of five floors to make way for 20 work bays. In future, its aftersales can be expanded to the remaining two floors with an addition of 18 work bays. This service centre is also armed with 30 experienced and trained staffs from the Volkswagen network to diagnose issues efficiently, swifter and deliver quality service to customers.

The outlet also has a four-storey parts storage facility spanning over 3,000 sq ft where 4,000 line of items are readily available for general service. Parts will be obtained from the centralized parts center in Shah Alam, Malaysia and Singapore.

A total of 3 floors dedicated to aftersales with 20 work bays

Goh Brothers Auto has invested RM3 million on equipping the aftersales division with the best equipment, tools and manpower. An estimate breakdown of RM1.5 million has been spent on the Body & Paint workshop which is also the only authorized center in KL North complete with 2 spray booths, 2 accident repair preparation bays, alignment bench, and mechanical measuring system to ensure precision in collision repair. All equipment are Volkswagen approved.

A total of RM1 million has been spent on tools from Germany and workshop equipment. Tools such as the Volkswagen diagnose computer system which is prepared for off-board diagnostic information system services, battery tester, special vehicle hoist and air-conditioned rooms for major engine repairs and buildup. The workshop will also be equipped with Electro Kardiograms (EKG) to real time measure vehicle complaints and upload to research and development at the manufacturer. The rest has been spent on hiring the right talent and on training.

Customer Lounge

Volkswagen Selayang 4S Centre operates from Monday to Sunday for its showroom and for after sales it operates from Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Other facilities such as Volkswagen’s first customer reception and lounge on the mezzanine floor is equipped with modern amenities like TV, WiFi, business centre as well as kids room.
