Earlier this month, we posted a teaser video from Mercedes-AMG, which teased “Something fast is coming“. Fast forward to the end of July, it appears that they were teasing the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe, not a hotter AMG GT S as we thought.
Slated for a reveal on 19th August, the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe features the same 4.0-litre V8 as the stonking AMG GT S. Similar to the AMG GT S, the smaller C63 Coupe should be available with 2 power outputs, namely with 476 PS and 510 PS. Both engines will be mated to an AMG 7 Speed dual-clutch automatic which drives the rear wheels.
The exterior of the C63 Coupe is still under heavy camouflage, but the car should be sporting the familiar C-Class front fascia. As for the rear end, some has predicted that the C63 Coupe could feature a similar rear end to the S63 Coupe.
Mercedes-AMG will be revealing the C63 Coupe online on August 19, roughly a month before its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
