Edaran Tan Chong Motor has introduced the new Nissan NV350 Urvan, a microbus with a 14-seater capacity. As the successor of the current Nissan Urvan – one of Malaysia’s best-selling commercial vehicles – the NV350 now offers more powerful performance and fuel efficiency, as well as more modern styling.
The NV350 Urvan is fitted with newly-developed 2.5L YD25DDTi turbocharged engine that incorporates clean-diesel technology, and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. In addition, the NV350 Urvan comes with improved engine noise suppression, improved vibration and harshness (NVH) levels for a quieter experience in minimizing driver’s fatigue to ensure a comfortable driving experience.
The NV350 Urvan presents a new dynamic exterior styling which is integrated with a new three-dimensional chrome front grille paired with bold headlamps, creating a contemporary and eye-catching design. From the side view, split character lines are also present to emphasize broad side planes. This new layout helps ensure stability which is enhanced by its greatly-extended wheelbase.
Inside, the NV350 Urvan comes with a high roof, providing ample spaciousness for smooth ingress and egress. Front and rear air conditioning system supplies quick cooling effect to driver and passengers for superior driving and riding comfort. A large-diameter front stabilizer bar and rear suspension with longer stroke, makes for a stable driving performance and comfortable ride.
The cabin of the NV350 Urvan has a modern clear-cut instrument panel with a 3.5 inch multi-functional display that showcases real-time fuel efficiency information, a gear shift-up indicator to inform drivers when to shift gears to optimize fuel efficiency, odometer and trip meter data.
Safety is very important in the design of the NV350 Urvan. It is equipped with ABS (Anti-locking braking system), BA (Brake Assist System), High Mount Stop Lamp, Child Safety Lock, and Zone Body Construction to make the journey as safe as it is comfortable.
