Travis recently revealed the specs and details of the upcoming Mazda 2 when the details were leaked online, and of course everything was made available during a huge Mazda roadshow which was held over the weekend at 1 Utama.
A full range of the Mazda cars were on display at the concourse of the new wing at 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya but the one car which I hoped to see was absent there.
As shown above, the specs were indeed showcased at the roadshow but the actual car was not there for display. Only an image of the car was on display right at the center.
A quick chat with several of the sales agents there at the roadshow has indicated that the Mazda 2 will be launched here in December and the cars will be ready for delivery before the Chinese New Year.
Few key specs to note which have been touted as one of the best specced cars for it’s price is the availability of a “Heads Up Display” (HUD) which even the new CBU Mazda 3 does not have.
At the moment now, the prices are still unconfirmed but they expect it at around the range of RM85,000 and 87,000 without insurance.
