If you were like me and you grew up in the 80’s, if I were to mention the flux capacitor to you, you would think about the DeLorean and it’s gull wing doors as well as the hit movie, “Back To The Future”, starring Michael J. Fox. The flux capacitor is the key component which makes time travel possible. Well, in the movie of course.
There has been multiple replicas about but all it does of course is just act as a replica. Now ThinkGeek has made a mini version of it and it also helps you charge your devices via the two USB ports at the side.
Drawing power from the cigarette lighter socket, this thing will annoy the hell out of you especially when you are driving at night. Thankfully there is an “On/Off” button at the side.
The product isn’t that cheap, currently priced at USD$24.99 (around RM81.00) which does add a little bit of flair to your car but at the end of the day, it still looks bulky and for those cars whose cigarette lighter socket isn’t that easily accessible, this toy may come as a disappointment for some.
