It was the perfect day for a gathering of some truly magnificent classics at the Maybank NST Car of the Year 2013 over the weekend of 4-6 October recently. Sunny skies, dry conditions and a fantastic turnout ensured that this year’s event, in association with Historic Motoring Ventures and NST Cars, Bikes & Trucks was THE best yet. We were there and here we’re proud to present some of the best classics and future classics that we’ve ever seen assembled in one place. Enjoy!
Ferrari Dino, named after Enzo’s son… Testarossa should have been more prominently placed… One of the finest Testarossa’s ever seen… Oldtimer Mercs were there too, looking resplendent, this green W123 Coupe is simply breathtaking… The only Ferrari that has no ‘Prancing Horse’ emblem, just ‘Dino’… Classic bikes were there too… This GT40 was built in Malaysia by its proud owner Dato Alan, brilliant! Ford Mustang American Muscle! Purebred GTO… The Brits were well represented… Timeless elegance, Jaguar E-Type.. DeTomaso Pantera Chevy Corvette, this one is the Official Indy 500 Pace Car Bugatti EB110, never knew there was one here! Daniel Gomez, take a bow, your car looks brilliant! Classic Datsuns Koh Jong Ming’s 2-door Datsun 120Y, simply awesome. Daniel Gomez’s recently completed project, wow. Classic Porsche’s need no caption, left us speechless… A brilliant show this year, well done!
