MINI is set to introduce its new, 3rd generation MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S this weekend at all eight MINI dealerships across the country. Therefore, MINI Malaysia is inviting all MINI enthusiasts to feel, hear, smell and get a taste of the powerful new changes in the new MINI.
Available in four new variants including Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper Chilli and Cooper S Wired, the new MINI Cooper variant will be powered with a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine which delivers a maximum output of 136hp and 220Nm of torque.This allows the MINI Cooper to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h. These figures are combined with an average fuel consumption reading of 4.7 litres per 100km with a CO2 emissions level reading of 109g/km.
Meanwhile, the new MINI Cooper S variants are equipped for highly spirited power delivery with a 2.0-litre 4–cylinder engine which delivers a peak output of 192hp, and a maximum torque of 280Nm. The new MINI Cooper S sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds and is able to achieve a top speed of 233 km/h. Despite the impressive speed, average fuel consumption in the EU test cycle stands at 5.4 per 100km with a CO2 emissions level reading of only 125 g/km.
