For 2025, MINI Malaysia is set to launch their first locally assembled (CKD) third-generation Countryman variant at BMW Group Malaysia’s production facility in Kulim, Kedah.
This new addition is the petrol-powered MINI Countryman S ALL4, a thrilling variant of the third-gen (U25) Countryman lineup.
Performance & Powertrain
Under the bonnet, the MINI Countryman S ALL4 boasts a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, delivering an impressive 204 PS and 300 Nm of torque.
This powerhouse is paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and MINI’s proprietary ALL4 all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
Together, they enable the S ALL4 to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 228 km/h.
Exterior Excellence
The exterior of the MINI Countryman S ALL4 closely mirrors its electric sibling, the Countryman SE ALL4, with both models featuring the Favoured Trim Package as standard.
Key exterior highlights include the signature octagonal front grille, sharp LED headlights with distinctive light signatures, full LED taillights with triple light signatures, red-hued S emblems, and striking 20-inch Windmill Spoke alloy wheels.
Interior & Tech
Inside, the Favoured Trim Package continues to impress. The petrol-powered model shares the same high-end features as the EV variant, including the MINI OS9 OLED infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a MINI head-up display replacing the conventional meter cluster, John Cooper Works sporty front seats wrapped in vegan leather upholstery, and a premium 12-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system.
Thanks to a larger dimension, the new Countryman of offers more space than its predecessor, with a boot capacity of 505 litres, expandable to 1,530 litres. Additionally, the slidable rear seats enhance legroom and comfort for rear passengers.
Driving Dynamics
Despite its larger size and taller ride height, the Countryman S ALL4 maintains the iconic MINI go-kart driving sensation, thanks to its tuned damper setup and ultra-preloaded anti-roll bars.
Safety Features
Safety is paramount in the new Countryman S ALL4, which comes standard with the Driving Assistant PLUS package.
This includes advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as Active Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop&Go, Steering and Lane Control Assistant (LCA), Speed Limit Assistant, and more.
The Parking Assistant Plus suite offers features like Park Assist, Reversing Assistant, Active Park Distance Control, and Remote 3D View, among others.
Pricing & Availability
Now available for booking through MINI Malaysia’s authorised dealers nationwide, the all-new MINI Countryman S ALL4 CKD is priced at RM259,000.
This price includes a standard 2-year vehicle warranty and a 5-year 24-hour roadside assistance. For those opting for the MINI Extended Warranty & Service package, which extends the warranty by an additional two years, the price increases to RM270,000.
