Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the C-Class L at the Beijing Motor Show, built exclusively for the Chinese market.
With 4766 mm length and a wheelbase of 2920 mm, this long-wheelbase C-Class dominates the standard model by 80 mm. As a result, rear seat passengers can enjoy the largest legroom in the segment as a whole. Apart from that, the rear seat passengers also get a privacy glass and electric controls that can adjust the front passenger seat.
Two versions of the car will be offered to the Chinese public. The first is the normal Sedan which bears the classic saloon grille with the Mercedes star on the bonnet. The second is the Sport Sedan, equipped with a sporty radiator grille, central star and AMG body modifications. AMG touches include a redesigned front apron, diamond mesh, chrome trim, AMG side sills and a diffuser-look AMG rear apron in vehicle colour.
While Mercedes-Benz is yet to disclose full detailed specifications, it is said that the new Mercedes C Class L will be equipped with a variety of engines that have outputs ranging from 156hp to 367hp.
