Lexus Malaysia today announced that all authorized Lexus outlets in Malaysia will now accept bookings for the all-new Lexus LC 500.
Since it made its global debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, the LC has been in great demand with customers placing early orders for the model. In Japan, shortly after it was officially launched, the number of orders received was equivalent to 3 years sales projections.
The all-new LC 500 is powered by a high-revving 5.0-litre V8 that is found in the RC F and GS F. The naturally aspirated V8 engine churns out a total output of 467hp and 527Nm of torque. This allows the LC 500 to achieve a 0 to 100 km/h time in 4.5 seconds. Helping power transfer to the rear wheels is a newly developed 10-speed automatic transmission.
The LC is manufactured at the Motomachi factory in Japan which is the same plant that produced the LFA supercar in 2011 and 2013.
