Supercar lovers, look away! What mentioned below can cause discomfort as Acura literally chopped up a Ferrari 458 for studies! No, really..
According to a report by Autocar, Acura bought a Ferrari 458 as a benchmark for the NSX. After development work was completed, the team at Acura chopped the Ferrari up!
But it was for a good cause, as Acura wanted to study the Ferrari’s aluminium construction. An Acura insider mentioned that they were “quite impressed” with Ferrari’s construction, and that the Ferrari now remains scattered across several containers at Acura’s R&D centre in Ohio.
Ferrari won’t be pleased to know that, of course.
