Sergio Marchionne has recently been appointed as the boss of Ferrari and there has already been news of a new hypercar coming from Maranello.
During an interview with Automobila Magazine, Sergio mentioned that the only future product associated with the LaFerrari is the Spider, and potential customers have already been approached.
With that being said, Sergio seems to be less keen with the V6-powered Ferrari Dino, rumoured to be a contender to the Porsche 911. “Where should that Dino be positioned? How much should it cost? How would it relate to the next 488?” asked Sergio. He said that Ferrari hasn’t found the answer to these questions yet.
While the Ferrari boss has not mentioned when the convertible LaFerrari would debut, some has reckoned that the official launch isn’t far off, as the company has already approached potential customers. Autoblog reckons that the LaFerrari Spider commemorate the 70th anniversary of the first Ferrari built, the 125 Sport in 1947.
