Lego has unveiled the classic Mini model under the CREATOR series. All one needs to do is assemble all 1077 pieces of Lego blocks and parts and you will have one of the most ingenious car designs in automotive history.
This is not the first time Lego has paid tribute to iconic cars under the CREATOR series as previously Volkswagen’s original Beetle and Microbus/Combi van were featured as well. By looking at the images here, Lego did an amazing job replicating the classic Mini into bricks judging on the accuracy on the Mini’s detail. The Lego blocks not only assemble the external car body, but the insides as well, including the Mini’s twin air cleaners in the engine. The interior gets close to perfect touches just like the original Mini. However, the best part goes to the British Racing Green Mini colours, complete with racing stripes and fog lamps!
The Dannish toymaker is set to launch this in August and unfortunately it this is strictly for those with deeper pockets, judging from the Beetle model sold on Amazon priced at almost a whopping RM2,500! But fans of the original Mini shouldn’t be agitated with the premium pricing as it would make a fine addition to their collection just like the one in their garage.
