With 2017 just around the corner, and it appears that Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has some new models to launch.
Likely to be the first model to be launched by VPCM is the all-new second generation Volkswagen Tiguan. Thanks to our friends over at Funtasticko, it appears that VPCM is currently conducting road tests for the new model.
Disguise on the new Tiguan in minimal, as tape is only found on the emblems and badges of the new SUV. Thanks to that, we can see that at least one variant of the all-new Tiguan will receive halogen headlights with halogen daytime running lights, LED tail lights, roof rails and 17-inch Montana alloy wheels.
In line with VPCM’s current strategy, we can expect to see three variants of the Tiguan, Comfortline, Trendline and Highline. The outgoing model is powered by a twin-charged 1.4-litre TSI engine. The new model, on the other hand, could see the same engine fitted, albeit with just a turbocharger.
