Hot! We’ve recently came across a lone spyshot of what could possibly be the upcoming 2016 Proton Saga!
All these while, we’ve spotted the Saga wearing full camouflage, and this is very likely the first time the car has been uncovered naked.
Judging from the clearest rear end shot we shown here, much of the design elements are present on this white sedan, including the elongated tail lights plus the centre-mounted rear foglight. From the shot above, it appears that at least one variant of the Saga will feature a large chrome strip that cuts across the tailgate. Much like the 2016 Proton Perdana, the Saga’s chrome strip integrates nicely into the tail lights.
The upcoming Proton Saga, when it debuts later this year, will go head-to-head against the all-new Perodua Bezza. The Proton Saga is said to receive a 1.3-litre Campro VVT engine, mated to a CVT or Getrag five-speed manual. In fact, the Saga could be fitted with VSA, TC and Hill Hold Assist, on top of ABS, EBD and BA.
Stay tuned for more details!
