Euromobil Sdn Bhd, a member of DRB-HICOM Group of Companies (DRB-HICOM) recently opened the doors to the new Audi Kuala Lumpur Service Centre, located at Jalan Chan Sow Lin.
Already operational since early September, this new service centre facility increases the number of previous service bays at Audi Kuala Lumpur from 6 to a total of 26 bays. Additionally, the aftersales service team has also been expanded from 21 staff currently to 47 highly trained service advisors, technicians and consultants to provide the best care for all Audi vehicles.
As a result, service throughputs at Audi Kuala Lumpur will increase from just 2,500 service throughputs per annum currently into a total of more than 11,000 throughputs.
“With the establishment of the service centre, Euromobil is able to further strengthen our position in the local automotive industry. Euromobil has invested more than RM11 million in this service centre because we believe that our customers deserve top service quality throughout their entire ownership experience with the Audi brand. This expansion is very much in line with the growing demand for Audi vehicles and our customers can now expect to find that waiting time for service slots will decrease and the service and maintenance itself will be quicker and more convenient,” said Brigadier General (K) Tan Sri Haji Mohd Khamil Jamil, Group Managing Director of DRB-HICOM Berhad.
During the launch, Immo Buschmann shared, “The team at Audi Malaysia have been working hand-in-hand with our counterparts at Euromobil for quite some time now and I am very happy to see the results of this hard work. The expansion in Audi Kuala Lumpur’s service facilities is definitely a step in the right direction and I am confident this will strengthen the core of our operations here in Malaysia, which in turn will provide yet another compelling reason for customers to purchase an authorised Audi vehicle.”
The new service centre is approximately 300 metres away from the previous location at No.44, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur. Now housed at No.124, 126, 127 and 128 Jalan Enam Kawasan Perindustrian Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur, the construction of the service centre was commissioned by DRB-HICOM on 5th March 2015 with inputs from Audi AG with regards to design and technical specifications.
This service centre also serves as a technical training hub, providing support to each of the 5 Euromobil branches nationwide and complementing the current training centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
