Proton has announced changes in the top management which will take effect on April 1, 2016. This will see the appointment Dato’ Ahmad Fuaad bin Mohd. Kenali as the new Chief Executive Officer of Proton. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the company and also an Executive Director.
Dato’ Ahmad Fuaad holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computerised Accountancy from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom and a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance from Brighton College of Technology, Brighton, United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Meanwhile, the current CEO, Dato’ Abdul Harith bin Abdullah (picture above), will take a new position in the DRB Group as the CEO of its Automotive Distribution and Defence unit.
Also appointed to the position of Deputy CEO/Executive Director is Dato’ Md. Radzaif bin Mohamed who is presently the COO of the Automotive Distribution and Manufacturing unit of DRB-HICOM.
All three senior executives will assume their new positions next month.
