Pre-season testing is crucial in motorsports, where teams will test their machinery of 2014 to gather the necessary data to improve their machines prior to the racing season starts. Starting tomorrow until Thursday marks the first test for the MotoGP pre-season test in Sepang, Malaysia, with the next test in Sepang will be on 26th-28th Feb 2014. The circuit will be host for two of three tests for the MotoGP category. Meanwhile, for the Moto2 and Moto3 categories, the test will be held in three sessions in Spain from Feb 11 to March 13 2014.
“Come and see your MotoGP heroes in action on their new machines as they opened their year-long contest battle for supremacy and the world crown right here in Sepang,” says SIC Chief Executive Officer Datuk Razlan Razali.
Fans can witness the event from the grandstand area without any admission fee, as well as discounted tickets for the 2014 Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix, happening from October 24 to 26. So be there to catch Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and reign world champion, Marc Marquez, blazing the Sepang track with 2014’s machinery. The first race of the MotoGP 2014 season will begin in Qatar on 23 March 2014.
