A few months ago, Hyundai Malaysia has announced that the new 2016 Hyundai Tucson will be launched in Malaysia some time this year. Let’s take a closer look at what we will be getting, thanks to these spyshots.
Thanks to Sean Woo on the Hyundai Tucson Owners Club Malaysia Facebook page, we managed to get an early look of the Tucson here in Malaysia. Specifications are scarce at the moment, but we gather that the new Tucson will be powered by a 2.0-litre engine, mated to an automatic gearbox.
Up front, the 2016 Hyundai Tucson features a more prominent Hyundai grille, flanked by a pair of large headlights which incorporates projectors and LED daytime running lights. It appears that Hyundai Malaysia will be bringing in at least two variants of the Tucson, as the photo clearly shows one variant with front foglights, and one without. Both variants appear to be identical from the rear.
There are no interior shots as yet, so we’ll have to make do with these for the time being.
Stay tuned for more updates!

These are photos of the Korean Hyundai Tucson, and we have photos of the interior as well! Do take note that our local variant may vary from what you see here.
