While the world was mourning on the sudden demise of Paul Walker, many wondered on the fate of the latest Fast and Furious 7 movie. The movie was still filming and was scheduled to be released by 11 July 2014.
Director James Wan had some words with Universal executives to discuss the fate of the film. Right now, sources from the media revealed that the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious series will go on and will not be cancelled. However, the movie will miss the deadline hence it will be postponed. No one knows at the moment how the movie will progress without Paul.
The cast went back to the States following the Thanksgiving Holiday and they were supposed to resume shooting in Atlanta this week, but after the events from last weekend the production is said to be put on hold.
The word devastation is an understatement to describe the reaction of the cast on Paul’s untimely death. Walker’s co-star and friend Tyrese Gibson broke down in tears after visiting the crash site yesterday to place flowers. “Not just a family on camera – we’re a real family” as he tweeted.

Sadness can be felt in Vin Diesel’s tweet as well “Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace.”
Tweets from Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. the Rock was heartfelt as well. “All my strength, love & faith to the Walker family during this heartbreaking time. We find our strength in his light. Love you brother.”
The cast and crew will return to Abu Dhabi in January for additional shootings. Meanwhile, Paul’s next movie, Hours; a personal project of his based on the drama on Hurricane Katrina, will be released posthumously on December 13th.
