Lexus has teased a new F model that is set to be unveiled during the Detroit Motor Show next month. The company confirmed that the new F model will be sold alongside the RC-F Coupe. Read our launch report of the Lexus RC Coupe here.
Although no further details were released by Lexus, they did, however, released 2 teaser images. From the images teased by Lexus, there is a high probability that the said F model could be based on the Lexus GS sedan.
Initially debuting on the Lexus IS F Sport, these boomerang-styled LED daytime running lights are also found on the Lexus RC coupe. Also seen from the teaser photos are rather aggressively-styled front bumper air intakes, which again, looks to be inspired by the Lexus RC coupe. Lexus has not released any information about the powertrain as yet, but we’re guessing that the V8 that powers the Lexus RC F could be shoehorned into the upcoming GS-F sedan. The 5.0-litre V8 will produce about 470hp and 530Nm of torque.
Stay tuned as we will be updating this spot once more information is available.
