Denza, the premium sub-brand of BYD, has made a bold entrance into the Malaysian market with the launch of its luxury MPV, the Denza D9. In just the first week, an impressive 800 units were sold, reflecting the strong demand for this high-end electric vehicle.
To celebrate this milestone and deliver the first batch to early owners, Denza is hosting the ‘DENZA and BYD Electrifying Experience’ from 14 to 16 March at Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity. This event will not only mark the official handover of the D9 but also provide an opportunity for the public to experience the vehicle firsthand.
The Denza D9 is available in two variants, the Advanced, which features front-wheel drive, and the Premium, which offers all-wheel drive capability. Designed to provide a seamless blend of luxury, performance, and technology, this MPV delivers a first-class travel experience for both drivers and passengers.
Inside, the cabin is a showcase of comfort and innovation. The expansive 15.6-inch central touchscreen takes center stage, providing intuitive control over the vehicle’s features. The massage seats ensure a relaxing journey, while the temperature-controlled 6.8-litre fridge, capable of maintaining temperatures between -6°C and 50°C, adds an extra touch of convenience for road trips.

Powering both variants is a 103 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, ensuring outstanding efficiency and range. The Denza D9 supports DC fast charging up to 166 kW and AC charging at 11 kW, making charging quick and effortless. In just 10 minutes, the battery can gain 150 km of range, while a 30-minute charge boosts it from 30% to 80%, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum convenience for owners.
The DEnza D9 Advanced is priced at RM259,000, while the Premium model comes in at RM309,000.
The ‘DENZA and BYD Electrifying Experience’ is open to the public and offers a variety of engaging activities. Attendees will have the chance to test drive the Denza D9, explore Denza’s latest technological advancements, and immerse themselves in an exclusive sound and lounge experience. The event will also feature family-friendly activities, making it an enjoyable outing for all ages.
Additionally, visitors can look forward to a special preview and presentation of the DENZA Z9GT, which will take place every two hours.
