Ferrari has just dropped its 2024 performance figures, and—no surprises here—it’s been another fantastic year for the Prancing Horse. Sales are up, revenue is up, and there’s a whole lot more in store for 2025, including a brand-new EV that’s already clocking thousands of test kilometres.
Sales Snapshot: More Ferraris on the Road
In 2024, Ferrari delivered 13,752 cars globally, marking a 0.7% increase from the previous year. Leading the charge were the Roma Spider, 296 GTS, and the ever-divisive Purosangue, which, love it or hate it, is flying out of showrooms.
The second half of the year saw the arrival of two big hitters—the SF90 XX Stradale and the 12Cilindri. The latter even made its Malaysian debut in the final quarter, courtesy of Ital Auto Malaysia, priced from RM4.7 million onwards.
Regional Performance: Winners & Strugglers
Not every region saw a boost, though. Ferrari admitted it sold 328 fewer cars across China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, reflecting the broader struggles many foreign carmakers faced there.
On the flip side, things looked much better elsewhere:
- Americas: Up 192 units (+5%)
- Europe, Middle East & Africa: Up 131 units
- Asia-Pacific: Up 84 units
Money Talks: Ferrari’s Profits Soar
It wasn’t just about selling more cars—Ferrari also made a whole lot more money. The company reported a net profit of €6.7 billion (approx. RM30.82 billion), an 11.8% jump from 2023.
Ferrari credits this to its strong product mix and the ever-growing demand for personalisation—because let’s be honest, no one buys a Ferrari without ticking a few options.
Looking Ahead: Big Plans for 2025 & Beyond
Ferrari is not slowing down. In fact, it’s confident it will hit most of its 2026 profitability targets ahead of schedule. Key to this momentum is the arrival of the all-new F80 flagship (deliveries start this year) and the confirmation of six new models launching in 2025.
Speaking of the EV, CEO Benedetto Vigna has confirmed that Ferrari will unveil more details on 9 October at its Capital Markets Day.
“We will reveal more of our future on 9 October at our Capital Markets Day,” said Vigna, adding that the EV will be presented “in a unique and innovative way.”
Spy shots suggest a brand-new body style—potentially with four doors, similar to the Purosangue. While Ferrari is keeping details under wraps, one thing’s for sure: this won’t be just another electric car.
The Verdict: Ferrari’s Winning Streak Continues
Ferrari is riding high, with strong sales, growing profits, and an ambitious roadmap for the future. With six new models coming, a new flagship on the way, and an EV set to shake things up, 2025 is shaping up to be another exciting year for the Prancing Horse.
