Great news for car lovers and building block fans! The C8 Corvette Stingray has zoomed its way into the Lego lineup and is now available on Lego’s official website.
Lego, as we all know, isn’t just for kids. It’s also a big hit with adults, especially when it comes to iconic cars.
This new C8 Corvette Stingray set is a thrilling addition to the Technic Build series, boasting 732 pieces that include exciting features like the Stingray’s functional V-8 engine and differential between the wheels.
Here’s where it gets even more exhilarating: pop open the trunk to reveal the engine, and you’ll see the pistons moving!
The differential also moves along with the wheels, adding an extra layer of authenticity. Plus, the Stingray’s interior, along with opening doors and frunk, make this build a true-to-life replica.
Making its debut in iconic yellow, this is the first C8 Corvette to be featured in Lego form. The model measures 10.5 inches long, 5.5 inches wide, and just over 3.0 inches tall, making it a sizeable and impressive display piece.
However, there are a few minor design flaws. Without its stickers, it’s a bit tricky to identify the Corvette.
From the side, the massive air intakes are hard to spot, and the front and rear sections can look a bit unfinished, giving it a resemblance closer to a Z06.
But let’s be real, for a set aimed at ages 9 and up, and as an introduction to cars and engineering, Lego has done an exceptional job.
We’re sure Corvette enthusiasts will also be eager to get their hands on this build and proudly show it off once completed.
