Tesla previously announced that they will reveal the electric Semi Truck sometime this month of October but thanks to a tweet from Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, it seems that they have moved the launch date to November. According to Musk, resources are currently diverted to fix the Model 3 bottlenecks as well as for battery production to help Puerto Rico.
Tesla Semi unveil now Nov 16. Diverting resources to fix Model 3 bottlenecks & increase battery production for Puerto Rico & other affected areas.

Tesla is aiming to assist Puerto Rico with a solar setup as the country was hit badly by Hurricane Maria. Musk tweeted out that Tesla could assist with help for a solar powered grid to help restore electricity to the area which prompted the island’s governor to respond “lets talk”.
Still, there are no issues reported about the electric semi in a follow up tweet by Musk and that actually the specs are better than what has been reported so far.
Semi specs are better than anything I’ve seen reported so far. Semi eng/design team work is aces, but other needs are greater right now.
