Sometimes we may be travelling and we need to leave our cars at a spot or a parking lot for an extended period of time. We might wonder whether if it is safe but there are other things much more worrying than just thieves. Blake Howell in the US got more than he bargained for when he returned to his car after leaving it at the airport.
Poor Blake left his BMW under a tree at the Kona International Airport in Hawaii and came back to find it infested with cockroaches. You can see all of them crawling around on the exterior as well as in the engine bay. Once a cockroach has nested in your car, it will take somewhat of a miracle to clear them out and to completely clean it up.
“I joked with somebody that if they had actually been in the interior I probably would have had to set the thing on fire,” Howell told KITV. “It was incredible. I opened up the hood and they kept coming out and I kept spraying,” said Howell. “There had to have been a thousand bug corpses in the driveway and we washed it down into the gutter.”
Best of luck to Mr Howell in his attempts to clean his car of this infestation!
