Shell has a history that spans 125 years in Malaysia and it is no surprise that Shell Rimula, the company’s range of Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oils, has also been providing trucks and heavy vehicles with reliable protection that has grown to be synonymous with the brand, over the years.

Shell Rimula Night is an annual event held to celebrate Shell Rimula’s partnerships with key customers in Malaysia, some of which have transcended generations and are still going strong. In Sabah and Sarawak in particular, Shell Rimula has been the most preferred heavy duty diesel engine oil brand for the past six decades, trusted by business owners across industries for the quality of its products and technical support.
Shell Rimula has further cemented its market leadership by launching its fully synthetic Shell Rimula R6 LM with Dynamic Protection Plus earlier this year. The first and only heavy duty diesel engine oil in the market made from natural gas, the new flagship product offers up to 53% better protection against engine wear and deposits, especially cam wear and up to 45% lower oil consumption.
The Shell Rimula Technology Conference, held in conjunction with this year’s Shell Rimula Night, is an example of how Shell Lubricants was able to draw on its technology leadership and global resources to help keep its customers ahead of the game.
The participation of Shell Shanghai Technology Centre (SSTC) reflected Shell Rimula’s commitment to bring its technology expertise closer to customers and partners in the region. SSTC, one of Shell’s network of 9 technology centres around the world, is dedicated to supporting its esteemed customers in Asia.
At the 2016 Shell Rimula Night, 6 of the 8 lucky Grand Prize winners of this year’s Shell Rimula Global Promotion were presented with their prizes. The Shell Rimula Global Promotion is an annual affair aimed at rewarding loyal customers with money-can’t-buy experiences to spectacular destinations.
