Lamborghini’s latest supercar, the Huracan has already received 700 orders thanks to a month-long series of exclusive private preview tours worldwide for VIP clients. The tour will wrap up later this month before the model is officially unveiled at the upcoming 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The Huracan is set to replace the Lamborghini Gallardo, which is touted as Lambo’s best-selling model to date. In 2013, Lamborghini sold 1,120 Gallardos, while in 2012 it sold 1,161, which means that the Huracan has already received more than half the sales that the Gallardo achieved in either year.
The Huracan is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine that produces 610hp and 560 Nm of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 325 km/h.
You’ll be able to learn more about the new Lamborghini once the car makes its public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4th so stay tuned!
