Volkswagen Malaysia will be launching the all-new Vento sometime next week and in anticipation of its arrival, the company is now accepting orders for the sedan.
With estimated price from RM80-90k, the VW Vento will be offered in three variants, namely the Highline, Comfortline and Trendline.
The only turbocharged sedan in its class, the Vento Highline is equipped with a 1.2-litre turbocharged and direct-injection TSI engine with an output of 105PS. A 7-speed dual-clutch or direct-shift gearbox (DSG) provides a maximum torque of 175Nm and delivery from 1500rpm to 4100rpm.
Whilst impressive on performance, safety is not compromised. The new Vento Highline was awarded a 5-star rating by ASEAN NCAP and is equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), four airbags (front and side), anti-lock braking system (ABS), Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS) and ISOFIX anchorage point for child seats as standard features.
There are five colours are available for buyers to choose from, and this includes Candy White, Flash Red, Reflex Silver, Carbon Steel Grey and Deep Black.
