Moving to the sides, the Honda LaneWatch feature is also kept, which automatically turns on a camera mounted to the left wing mirror when the driver signals left, thus eliminating blind spots. Design of the 18-inch wheels also mirrors that of the outgoing model.

At the rear, Honda has given the Accord facelift a new pair of LED tail lights, now with BMW-esque light bars. The horizontal chrome slit is carried over, though the rear bumper design gets an update.

Inside, not much has changed from the outgoing model. The 2016 Honda Accord facelift still features the same dual LCD set up, though the bottom LCD display is similar to the one found on the Jazz and City. The Indonesian Accord 2.4 gets a dual tone interior, while the Malaysian version features an all-black interior. Elsewhere, Honda has also updated the centre console’s finishing. The rest of the kit include cruise control, Bluetooth hands-free, power adjustable seats up front, paddle shifters and leather-trimmed interior.

Safety kit comprises of six airbags, ABS, EBD, VSA, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, Emergency Stop Signal, ISOFIX mounts as well as Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) bodyshell.

For the Indonesian version shown here, power comes from a 2.4-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC engine that pushes out 176 PS and 225 Nm to the front wheels via a five-speed automatic. Honda Malaysia will also be offering a 2.0-litre variant, fret not.
