Transcend Information Inc. has announced the complete DrivePro Car DVR series, including the DrivePro 100, DrivePro 200, DrivePro 220, and DrivePro 520.
Every model in the DrivePro range records 1920 x 1080 (full HD) video at 30 frames per second (FPS). Lens angle varies from 130° to 160° depending on model. The built-in battery enables the DVR to continue recording for an additional 30 seconds in the event of a power failure or interruption. The G-sensor is also able to prevent files from being erased when impact is detected. The range of DrivePro DVRs also come with Auto Power On/Off to ensure that the DVR is always on standby.
The Transcend DrivePro range starts from the entry-level DrivePro 100. This model features a 3 megapixel image sensor, 130° wide angle lens, F/1.8 aperture, G-Sensor, built-in battery, snapshot feature and supports MicroSD cards up to 64GB.
Moving one level up is the DrivePro 200. Like the DrivePro 100, this too has a 3 megapixel image sensor, but the lens are wider, at 160°. Transcend says that the DrivePro 200 comes with a F/2.0 aperture, Wi-Fi function with an exclusive app, G-Sensor and a built-in battery. The DrivePro 200 supports MicroSD cards of up to 32GB.
One level above the DrivePro 200 is the DrivePro 220. The DrivePro 220 also comes with a 3 megapixel image sensor, 130° wide angle lens, F/1.8 aperture and a whole suite of safety features, like Lane Departure Warning System, Forward Collision Warning System, Parking Mode, Wi-Fi function, GPS Coordinates, Speed Alarm, G-Sensor and a built-in battery. The DrivePro 220 can support up to 64GB.
The range-topping model in Transcend line up is the DrivePro 520. This DVR comes with dual lens camera, snapshot, Wi-Fi function, G-Sensor, rear lens with infrared LEDs and a built-in battery. This model supports MicroSD cards of up to 32GB capacities.
All DrivePro DVRs include a free MicroSD Card, and are available with a choice of either a suction mount or adhesive mount as well as a car lighter power adapter. Every DrivePro product is protected by Transcend’s two-year limited warranty.
