Mazda looks to have has stolen the 2016 New York Motor Show showcasing a stunning new Targa-roofed version of its MX-5 convertible, called the MX-5 RF.
The new Mazda MX-5 RF (which translates into Retractable Fastback) is the closest thing we ever got to a MX-5 coupe and boy it looks really cool!
The power roof can be opened or closed at speeds of up to 10 km/h with the press of a button, and the roof is stowed compactly and efficiently in a limited space. Despite its fastback styling and hardtop roof, Mazda says the MX-5 RF offers the same amount of trunk space as the soft-top model.
You can check out how the new roof works via the video below captured by the folks at Auto Express during the official debut of the car!
