Subaru may have accidentally unveiled the 2017 Subaru Impreza by accident via Periscope, where the live stream ended prematurely.
Despite that unofficial reveal, Subaru did drop these official photos of the new MY17 Impreza Sport.
Up front, Subaru has revised the Impreza’s front fascia, now giving the sport sedan a curvier front end, with sharper headlights adorning the front end. Subaru has also massaged the Impreza’s sides, as the sedan gains muscular lines from the front to the rear.
Subaru has not provided any rear end shots, only a lone dual-tone spoiler visible. At a glance, it appears that much of the rear end is similar to the outgoing model.
Inside, it appears that Subaru has finally revised the sedan’s interior, which was best described as dated for the outgoing model. While the aircon controls look familiar, the upper half of the dashboard looks refreshing enough, with dual vertical aircon vents flanking the large touchscreen display. The usual performance monitor sits in the centre of the dashboard.
The Japanese company is expected to provide in-depth details when they official unveil the car tomorrow.
