Mazda is set to debut the all-new Mazda CX-4 crossover SUV at the Beijing Motor Show in April this year. To anticipate its arrival, the company has also dropped a teaser image of the CX-4’s C-pillar.

Mazda says the CX-4 will be the latest addition to Mazda’s new-generation lineup of models featuring the full range of SkyActiv Technology and Kodo-Soul of Motion design. With a striking presence that sets it apart from other SUVs, the functionality modern users expect and Jinba-ittai driving thanks to Sustainable Zoom-Zoom, this is a new type of crossover SUV designed to help customers live more creative lives.

Based on Mazda’s Koeru Concept which was unveiled at the Japan Motor Show last year, the new CX-4 should have a similar footprint to the concept at around 4.6 meters long and 1.9 meters wide, with a 2.7 meter wheelbase, offering space for five passengers inside.

The Mazda CX-4 will be slotted between the subcompact CX-3 and the popular CX-5, which is currently on sale in Malaysia. Do expect more details on the new model to be announced leading up to its debut next month!
