Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has officially unveiled the facelifted 2016 Honda Brio Amaze, which has been updated with new exterior styling, refreshed interior and new features.
Up front, the 2016 Honda Brio Amaze receives newly designed front bumper with dual chrome front grille, while the lower half of the bumper gets larger mesh grille inserts. The back-end of the facelifted Brio Amaze receives a pair of revised tail lights.
Honda has updated the interior of the Brio Amaze with the BR-V-derived dashboard. The new dashboard features silver trim, a new speedometer design with an integrated Multi-Info Display (MID) and new air conditioning controls. Higher end variants of the Brio Amaze gets automatic air conditioning plus an infotainment system that features Bluetooth connectivity. The Brio Amaze facelift also receives new seat fabric design.
Under the hood, the 2016 Honda Brio Amaze remains unchanged. The petrol variant of the Brio Amaze utilizes a 1.2-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder engine that churns out 88 PS and 109 Nm of torque. On the other hand, Honda Cars India also offers a diesel-powered Brio Amaze, which uses a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that pumps out 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The petrol engine can be had with a manual or CVT, while the diesel is manual only.
The new Amaze will be available in 7 colours, including Bluish Titanium Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Taffeta White and Orchid White Pearl.
