Honda Cars Philippines Inc, the official distributor of Honda vehicles in Philippines has opened bookings for the all-new 2016 Honda Civic. This would make Philippines the first country in the ASEAN region to receive the all-new Civic.
Buyers in the Philippines can choose between a 1.8E base model or the new 1.5 RS Turbo with the latter offering 172 PS and 220 Nm of torque. The 1.8-litre engine should be identical to the one found on the outgoing model, which is a 1.8-litre SOHC i-VTEC engine that pumps out 141 PS and and 173 Nm of torque. HCPI has mentioned that the 1.5 RS Turbo variant of the 2016 Civic will feature the new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology.
Furthermore, the all-new 2016 Honda Civic will feature LED headlights, LED signature rear lights, power-adjustable front seats, automatic dual-zone air conditioning and adaptive cruise control, keyless entry with push start system, Honda LaneWatch. Entertainment is backed by a 7-inch Display Audio system that now supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite navigation and reverse camera.
The all-new 2016 Honda Civic will be available in six different colours, namely, Cosmic Blue Metallic, Midnight Burgundy Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Rallye Red.
HCPI has said that interested buyers can now book the all-new 2016 Honda Civic at all dealerships nationwide.
