BMW gallops with the M6 Gran Coupe Horse Edition for this Chinese New Year

It’s the Year of the Horse for this Chinese New Year and BMW China celebrates by unleashing a special limited edition of M6 Gran Coupe, Horse Edition. The oddly named “Horse Edition” has additional goodies to the M6, which includes the Competitor Package which upgrades the power to 575 “horse”power (pun intended). Apart from that, there a monogram of the Chinese character for horse on the headrests, to play up BMW’s Chinese name, which means “precious horse”.

There are only 6 units of M6 Gran Coupe Horse Edition made available in China, and it costs USD $458,000. For those who wants practicality can opt for additional 2 doors via the 30 unit only M5 Gran Coupe Horse Edition for USD $327,000.

One can’t imagine if BMW runs the similar Chinese New Year stunt again, in 2018, or worse in 2019.
