Honda, alongside their tuning arm Mugen, will be showcasing a total of five concepts at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon, which includes hatchbacks, roasters, minivans and crossovers.
First up is the 2015 Honda Civic Type R. The high performance hot hatch from Honda now receives some of Mugen’s magic dust, giving the car much improved aerodynamics over the vanilla variant. Mugen has given the Civic Type R a new front bumper, a new bonnet, side skirts, new rims, larger rear diffuser and a new rear wing.
The cutesy Honda S660 Roadster also receives some cosmetic updates from Mugen, and is exclusive for the Japanese market. Those in Japan can choose between two Mugen kits for their Honda S660. The other Mugen customized cars are the Honda WGN Spada and the Honda HR-V.
Apart from Mugen, Honda will also be showcasing various models kitted with Modulo bodykits, which includes the Honda S660, Honda Civic Type R, Honda Fit, Honda Step WGN, Honda N-One and Honda N-Box.
The 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon will run from 15 January 2016 till 17 January 2016 so stay tuned for more updates!
