BMW has many times denied working on a M-badged 7-Series, but things are set to change, as a BMW M760Li has apparently leaked via bmw.de’s online configurator!
Thanks to the quick folks over at Bimmer Today, they managed to get some photos of the purported M760Li before it was taken down.
The system glitch apparently placed some M760Li emblems on an regular plain 750i. If you pay close attention, even the 730d gets the M760Li emblem. Or is it so? Some have claimed that the supposed M760Li might just get the 730d rear bumper, but its too soon to speculate at this point.
Under the hood, Bimmer Today said that the M760Li will be receiving a Rolls Royce-sourced 6.6-litre V12, with roughly 600 hp sent to either the rear wheels, or all four wheels via BMW’s xDrive system.
If it is true, then the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG may have to watch its back.
