Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), Ford Motor Company’s distribution partner in Malaysia, today announced a special year-end promotion to reward Ranger fans nationwide.
The promotion is also to celebrate two recent milestones for the new Ranger being given a five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, and being named ‘Pick Up of the Year’ at the New Straits Times-Maybank Car of the Year (COTY) 2015 Awards.
From now to 13 December, those wanting to find out more about the most capable, powerful, and smartest pickup in Malaysia can visit any Ford showroom nationwide, register their interest and answer a simple question to stand a chance to win a shopping voucher.
In addition, five lucky owners-to-be who book a Ranger from now to 13 December and register it by 31 December will win 200,000 BIG Points, which is equivalent to around four return trips to Australia.
Throughout the promotion, everyone who test drives a new Ranger will also receive a special limited edition car boot organiser.
Celebration parties will also be held at every dealership nationwide on Saturday 5 December and Saturday 12 December, with complimentary cake and refreshments served to all visitors.
“This month, we’re pleased to offer Malaysians nationwide the chance to discover for themselves how the new Ranger lives up to its reputation as Malaysia’s most capable, powerful, and smartest pickup. These special celebration events nationwide are our way of saying thank you to Ranger fans, and welcome more and more customers into our Ford family,” said Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz, managing director, Sime Darby Auto Connexion.
Since the new Ranger was launched in Malaysia two months ago, it has received the highest safety rating among all pickup trucks being tested by the ASEAN New Car Assessment Program (ASEAN NCAP) with a five-star score of 15.45/16 points. Ranger WildTrak has been named ‘Pick Up of the Year’ at the New Straits Times-Maybank Car of the Year (COTY) 2015 Awards.
